International and Dunlop Slazenger have ended their distribution agreement for
the Reebok Golf brand in Europe. Under
the agreement, which expires at the end of the year, Dunlop are responsible for
the distribution of Reebok's golf clothing and footwear in six European countries. But
Reebok Golf's European director Andrew Thomson said: "Dunlop have made considerable
progress in developing the Reebok Golf brand in a difficult trading environment,
but having discussed the future direction of the business we both feel it makes
sense for us to separate at this time." Dunlop
will now concentrate on its own core brand business while Reebok Golf will be
managed in-house. |
