GENESIS MANAGEMENT GROUP ACQUIRES
PRO STYLE TO FORM STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Two of the most respected and long established names in the world of golf have joined forces to create one of the most potent marketing organisation in Europe.

Genesis Management Group - who distribute equipment under the Nicklaus and Golden Bear brands - have acquired Pro Style who are responsible for a number of brands across the whole of the continent.

The new company will be called Genesis Management Group and will operate from a custom-built 11,000 sq ft facility in Manchester with a business office in Boca Raton, Florida.

Operations Director, Ian Waddicar said: "This alliance gives us tremendous capability. By merging our assembly, warehousing and distribution, both companies are immediately more efficient, effective and responsive."

Waddicar has been in the golf business some eight years since he launched his Pro Style range of waterproof clothing. this followed from his role as Sports Buyer with one of Britain's biggest mail order companies. He has also handed the Pro Select range for over two years.

The Genesis Management Group is already holding talks with a number of companies within the golf arena and will initiate extra growth through acquisitions, merger and partnership.
