NIKE REVENUE FALLS

Fourth quarter results for Nike were down by $2.31 billion from last year (5%). Revenue dropped 7% to $8.8 billion (1998: $9.6 billion) and net income totaled $451.4 million.

Much of Nike's new golf products will not hit the market until Spring 2000 although some of the new Tiger Woods apparel will be seen in the challenge match between Tiger and David Duval.

Nike's new products include bags, gloves and balls. Nike are now selling their products direct to consumers through their website.
