Izod off to Oxford

Apparel giants Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation are to sell Izod Club Golf to Oxford Industries.

"It has been our intention for some time to expand in the golf apparel industry based on the success of our Tommy Hilfiger men's golf business," said Oxford CEO Hicks Lanier. "Izod Club is one of the premier brands on the market and we believe our growing concentration on golf will allow us to effectively serve the needs of golf retailers and consumers."
