CLUB CAR ADDS NEW ROUGH TERRAIN VEHICLE TO CARRYALL RANGE

Club Car has extended the company's CARRYALL line of transportation and utility vehicles with the launch of the new Turf II XRT rough terrain vehicle. The new Turf II XRT vehicle is intended for use in golf course construction, landscaping and other non-golf rough terrain applications.

The Turf XRT model continues the

strong tradition established by Club Car and its CARRYALL range as part of the industry's only line of rustproof aluminum frame, chassis and cargo bed vehicles. If is a petrol-powered vehicle featuring heavy-duty all-terrain tyres and offering an impressive 163 mm ground clearance. The large than normal 26.5 litres fuel tank increases uptime with less refueling stops.

As with all other CARRYALL vehicles, the Turf II XRT model offers a lower overall weight spread evening across and A frame aluminum chassis. Turf tyres are available for use after golf course construction is complete. For existing courses and other turf applications, the turf tyres can be ordered in place of the all-terrain tyres.

Jerry Hanss, Regional Manager for Club Car Europe, commented: "The Turf II XRT model is an aggressive vehicle that can go where you need to go. With its 11 hp pedal start engine, the new vehicle has more power than anything else in its class."

The independent front suspension on the Turf II XRT vehicle keeps all four wheels in contact with the ground and four-wheel brakes provide superior stopping power. In addition, the Turf II XRT model comes standard with a power-coated steel brush guard, differential guard, heavy-duty rear stabiliser bar, rear trailer hitch and many other features.

Mr Hanss added "The Turf XRT model has a vehicle-rated capacity of 410 kg and bed capacity of 225 kg. So the vehicle is not only powerful, its also strong. As an added benefit, the vehicle will easily fit into a standard pickup bed."

The vehicle can be customised with a wide variety of accessories such as front and rear receiver hitches, a light bar with halogen work lights, a 450 kg-rated winch, a canopy top, a fixed or fold-down windscreen and an electric lift or hydraulic dump.
