THE CLEAT DOCTOR

MacNeill Engineering/Worldwide, has announced an agreement with sports psychologist Bob Rotella. Under the terms of the agreement, Rotella will serve as an official spokesperson for the CHAMP brand of golf cleats and the CHAMP Q-LOK System. Specifically, he is expected to champion MacNeill's national golf cleat education initiative to promote the benefits of a fresh set of golf cleats for improved confidence and performance. Additionally, Rotella will represent MacNeill at events, trade shows and related media days, while his likeness will appear in MacNeill's advertising and promotional materials.

Rotella will also write a CHAMP "Tip of the Week" for MacNeill's website, http://www.champspikes.com. Financial terms and length of the agreement were not disclosed.

A noted author of numerous books and articles on mastering the mental aspects of sports and winning, Rotella has served as a consultant to professional golfers such as Tom Kite, Davis Love III, Brad Faxon, David Duval, Phil Mickelson, Billy Mayfair and Pat Bradley.

The signing of Dr. Bob may leave many questioning the significance or the application he might serve to a cleat replacement company?
