Avid Sportswear & Golf Corp.
(OTCBB:AVSGE) on Wednesday, December 1, 1999, announced
that it filed a Registration Statement on Form 10-SB with
the Securities and Exchange Commission. Normally this form is
filed when a company announces it is joining the public markets.
Avid Sportwear first began trading in August of 1999. On December
18,1998, Golf Innovations
Corp entered into an agreement to purchase Avid Sportswear,
Inc. from its shareholders. Golf Innovations was already
a public company, but had no significant operations. On March
1, 1999, Avid Sportswear, Inc. became Golf Innovation's wholly
owned subsidiary and it continues to operate as a separate legal
entity. Golf Innovations changed it's name to Avid Sportswear &
Golf Corp. on May 27, 1999
In January 1999, the National Association of Securities Dealers Inc.
adopted eligibility rules to limit quotations on the Over The Counter
Bulletin Board to companies which file current, publicly available
reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Therefore, Avid Sportswear's common stock will not be quoted
on the OTC Bulletin Board as of December 2, 1999. In other
words there will not be a published market (bid and ask prices)
for Avid until it is current with it's reports to the SEC. Once
it complies with the eligibility rules the stock will once again be quoted
on the OTC Bulletin Board. |
