- TaylorMade
announced it has signed a multiyear contract with Loren Roberts to play its new
Rossa putter, a product line that was introduced at retail earlier this month.
The agreement also calls for Roberts to carry a Rossa tour staff bag.
- Starting
May 15, Delta, the "official airline of the PGA Tour," will only accept
golf clubs in either hard-shell cases, such as Ogio's Rig or Club Glove's travel
bag. Passengers who bring their golf clubs in soft-cover bags will be required
to put the bag in a "Delta golf box" at check-in--with a $10 charge
applied per box.

Golf introduces the TC-2 iron, which follows up on the success of its TF-1 (Tour
Feel) iron.

Car introduces its Transporter 472 utility vehicle, which seats four and has a

Enterprises Inc., an apparel company based in Peoria, Ariz., posted a net loss
in 2001 and reported annual sales were relatively flat. For the year ending Dec.
31, the company recorded net sales of $41.6 million compared with $41.5 million
in 2000.

- Adams
Golf (Nasdaq:ADGO) today announced operating results for the first quarter ended
March 31, 2002. Net sales were $12.4M as compared to net sales of $20.1M during
the first quarter of 2001. The Company recorded a net profit of $0.6M, or $0.03
per common share, for the three months ended March 31, 2002 as compared to a profit
of $0.4M, or $0.02 per common share, for the comparable period in 2001.

Federal District Court in Springfield, Massachusetts has denied Spalding Sports
Worldwide's request for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction
against Wilson Sporting Goods as it relates to the Wilson True Roll.
- Gary
Player has been awarded $716,357 in damages, contempt charges and legal costs
for an online marketing venture that went sour.U.S. District Judge Kenneth Ryskamp
issued an injunction last October to halt sales and found the online company of
Gary Player Golf Inc., in contempt in November.
- Atlanta-based
NEXT Technology Golf announced the launch of its new Magnetix Driver.
- Strategic
Shaft Technologies reported that custom clubfitter California Golf Technologies
joined its SST PURE network.

months after he was stripped of his chief executive title, James Stanich has resigned
as president of National Golf Properties (NYSE:TEE), the company announced April
23.
- Nancy
Lopez is named recipient of the 2002 PGA First Lady of Golf award. Lopez will
be honored June 5, in a ceremony in Canton, Ohio, in conjunction with the 63rd
Senior PGA Championship, June 6-9, at nearby Firestone Country Club in Akron,
Ohio.

Marketing announces the finalized purchase agreement of Flagstick Guarantee LLC,
a regional prize promotion company located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

maker LESCO announces a 3 percent increase in sales for the quarter ended March
31, compared to the previous year.

maker Aldila announces net sales of $11.4 million and a net loss of $198,000 ($0.01
per share) for the first quarter ended March 31, 2002. In the corresponding 2001
quarter, the company's net sales were $14.6 million and net income was $988,000.
- Spalding
Holdings Corporation, the parent company of Spalding Sports Worldwide, Inc., announces
it consummated a transaction with holders of approximately 95 percent of its outstanding
10 3/8 percent senior subordinated notes and its principal stockholders. The result
is a recapitalization of its debt and equity structure.
