bad for a putter that is still not available to the consumer.
Ashworth's net income fell to $2.8 million for the fiscal year ended Oct. 31 from
$6.6 million last year on revenue of $124.7 million versus $125.9 million. Reebok's
US sales of footwear rose slightly, from $925.1 million to $930.5 million for
the year, while Reebok apparel sales grew 68 percent, to $395.1 million. Maxfli's
Noodle is currently the hottest ball on retailer's shelves. They are selling well
ahead of the Pro V1 and Lady balls.
Cobra's new driver is in great demand. Initial reports are very favourable. Spencer
King of Bite Shoes reports that their new Chainsaw golf sandal, using Bite's ATV
cup-sole technology, neoprene-lined durable upper and thread spikes, is receiving
great reviews and orders. It is available at on- and off-course shops, with a
suggested retail price of $59.99. |
