Ping is No. 1 for Custom Fitting

That's Official according to a New Survey of American Golfers

Golfers on the other side of the Atlantic believe that PING is America's top golf company for the custom fitting of irons, woods and putters. That's the conclusion reached in an extensive national survey conducted by Golf Datatech, a leading independent golf research company based in Kissimmee, Florida.

Some 50% of the 1,400 golfers questioned during the survey indicated that they believed that PING was the market leader in custom fitting and large number of them also indicated they had availed themselves of the custom fitting services that PING provide.

Altogether, 35% of the golfers surveyed* indicated they had been custom fit with PING irons, 31% said they had been custom fit for a PING putter and 23% reported they had been custom fit for a PING driver. (* The survey sample was 96% male, with a mean age of 46.3 years and a mean handicap of 15.7. They played an average of 61 rounds of golf a year and had played for 17 years).
