Nike Golf Launches New Power Distance Range

Three new balls designed for extra power and distance will be available in Europe from March 2002

The new range is called the Nike Power Distance.

The new range will include three models designed to give the mid to high handicap player increased distance, feel and accuracy on the course at a value price.
The Power Distance range will be available throughout Europe from February. All three balls of the range are solid core, two-piece golf balls and feature 'Metalflex' core technology.

All three cores contain a mix of Titanium, Cobalt and Nickel, with each modified to affect ball performance.
The three balls in the range are as follows:
1. Power Distance Ti-Velocity (designed for higher handicap players that are looking for maximum distance and durability - Low spin and extra titanium for more velocity).
2. Power Distance Feel-Speed (designed for mid to high handicap players looking for extra feel and accuracy - Better short game feel and extra nickel creating a livelymid-compression-core).
3. Power Distance Hi-Launch (designed for mid to high handicap players looking for extra carry and feel - Higher initial launch angle and extra cobalt creating spin and lift).

The ball will be only be available in dozens at an RRP of £14.99 per dozen in the UK. European price is € 29.50 per dozen.
