Golf Assured Of Big Increase In Exhibitors
Première
Golf 2001 is 85% sold out four months before it is due to open at the Marbella
Congress Palace on November 13. It
means that as things stand Première Golf 2001 is guaranteed to have 65%
more floor space than at the inaugural event in November 2000 and that figure
will rise once the remaining 15% of space is allocated to those companies that
have expressed interest in it. Première
Golf 2001 will have a distinct international flavour to it because it has already
attracted exhibitors from as far afield as France, Spain, Germany, the UK, the
USA, Denmark, Holland, Taiwan, Italy, Sweden, Ireland and Switzerland.
Virtually
all of last year's exhibitors have booked space at Première Golf 2001 and
they will be joined by a number of new exhibitors of the calibre of Ping, Wilson,
Cutter and Buck, Sunderland of Scotland, Srixon, One-to-One with Greg Norman,
Refit Golf, Izzo, Matchmakers International and Westgolf.
"We
are delighted that almost all of last year's exhibitors have decided to book space
at Première Golf 2001 and feel sure that all the new exhibitors will find
it just as beneficial," said Event Director Robert Fairbairn.
"What we wanted when
we set up Première Golf 2000 was to create a Show that was successful on
a business level but also gave visitors the chance to relax, talk to each other,
and enjoy a bit of golf.
"We
would like to think that we were successful in that aim and hope that we can go
on to make the Show even better year."
Première
Golf 2001, which is owned by Reed Exhibition Companies, the company that stages
the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, starts on Tuesday November 13 and
runs on Thursday, November 15. The following day exhibitors and buyers and invited
to take part in a number of golf events arranged at 5 courses in the area. |
