BIGGA ANNOUNCES NEW SHOW

Set to run in the Harrogate International Centre in January 2002, The Golf Club Show will provide club owners and managers and secretaries access to the resources necessary to equip their club inside and out.

The show will run alongside the success BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition. There will be a seminar programme to include the agronomist, Dr James Beard.

"Many golf club secretaries, chairmen of green and other senior club personnel already attend BTME with their greenkeeping staff. For some time we have been considering the possibility of offering a complete golf club experience for these, and the many more visitors who will be attracted to Harrogate by the advent of the new show. Now is the time to make it happen," said Neil Thomas, BIGGA executive director.

"While BTME will continue as an exhibition with the whole range of products and services for the golf course, The Golf Club Show, which will have its own hall within the Exhibition Centre, will offer all the additional equipment, furnishing and service needs for a golf club," explained Neil.
