ProShot Team Up With Yamaha

The ProShot yardage and course management system has been installed for the first time in the UK on the fleet of Yamaha golf cars at the Austin Lodge club in Kent.

The system, a global brand leader, is already in use at Valderrama, Mijas and Montecastillo in southern Spain and Vale do Lobo in the Algarve, and Brian Swinden, national accounts sales manager at Yamaha, says: "We are convinced that other UK sites will be interested when they see how the system can improve their golf car management."

Colin Surman, a ProShot director, said: "Like Yamaha we are market leaders in our field and we believe this agreement will give us a great opportunity to establish the ProShot system in the UK very quickly."

Yamaha will demonstrate the system at the GolfExpo 2000 trade show at the NEC from November 2-5 and on their Ultima G19E electric golf cars during the recent Volvo Masters at Montecastillo.
