Première Golf 2000 Attracts Key Brands To Spain


Callaway Golf, Taylor Made and Titleist & FootJoy are among a large number of key brands including Adams Golf, Adidas, Ashworth, Ben Sayers, Cobra, John Letters, Hi-Tec, Lyle & Scott, Lynx, MacGregor, Mitsushiba, Powerbilt and Yonex, to be attracted to the inaugural Première Golf 2000 trade show to be staged in Marbella, Spain, this November.

Première Golf 2000 scheduled for the Marbella Congress Palace from November
14-17, will be attended by a large number of the game's major buying groups
such as Europro, Nevada Bob and Tartan Golf plus leading independent retail
groups such as Auchterlonies of St Andrews, European Golf, Robin Hood Golf
and Terry Matthews Golf Shops. European buyers will also be attending in
force.

Reed Exhibition Companies aim to replicate in Europe, it's hugely successful
PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The buying groups and merchandise/equipment companies consequently see this as the ideal launch pad for the 2001 season.

In addition to the PGA Merchandise Show, Reed also owns and manages the
annual International Golf Show in Las Vegas and has recently acquired their
equivalent golf event in Australia.

Golf professionals and buyers attending Première Golf will also be able take
advantage of a special offer to watch the world's leading golfers at the
American Express World Golf Championship event at Valderrama. 

Première Golf 2000 is receiving tremendous support from The Andalusian
Tourist Board, The Costa Del Sol Tourist Board, Marbella Town Hall and The
Andalusian Golf Federation, who are collectively seeking to promote both the
region and ever growing golf tourism sector. 

On the fourth day of the event there will be a large-scale golf day played
over a number of high class courses such as Valderrama, Almenara, Marbella
Club Golf Resort, Los Naranjos, Atalaya Park and Santa Maria. The golf event
will see exhibitors and visitors teamed together in a unique European golf
industry occasion.
