Greenkeepers to Pool Expertise

The recent World Conference on Golf Greenkeeper Education and Training has produced an agreement to share existing and new golf greenkeeping expertise worldwide via internet links.

The event, at the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association's headquarters near York, was attended by 24 delegates from 12 countries.

BIGGA chairman Elliott Small said: "The conference proved to be a wonderful opportunity to share the vast knowledge that exists on the subject of greenkeeping education all over the world, and the benefits which will come from such a gathering will be far reaching".
