Marbella Show

Many of golf's leading manufacturers have committed to the inaugural Première Golf 2000 trade show at the Marbella Congress Palace in southern Spain from November 14-17.

These companies include Callaway Golf, Taylor Made, Titleist & FootJoy, Adams Golf, adidas, Ashworth, Ben Sayers, Cobra, John Letters, Hi-Tec, Lyle & Scott, Lynx, MacGregor, Mitsushiba, Powerbilt and Yonex.

The organisers also expect attendance from several of the game’s major buying groups such as Europro, Nevada Bob and Tartan Golf plus leading independent retail groups like Auchterlonies of St Andrews, European Golf, Robin Hood Golf and Terry Matthews Golf Shops.

Reed Exhibition Companies aim to replicate in Europe the hugely successful PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The buying groups and merchandise/equipment companies consequently see this as the ideal launch pad for the 2001 season. In addition to the PGA Merchandise Show, Reed also owns and manages the annual International Golf Show in Las Vegas and has recently acquired the equivalent golf event in Australia.

Golf professionals and buyers attending Première Golf will also be able take advantage of a special offer to watch the world’s leading golfers at the American Express World Golf Championship event at Valderrama.

Première Golf 2000 is supported by the Andalusian and Costa del Sol tourist boards, Marbella Town Hall and the Andalusian Golf Federation who are collectively seeking to promote both the region and their ever-growing golf tourism business.
